I had the opportunity to meet Colin and Crystal at the Indie Wedding Collective
(http://candaceberry.com/blog/2015/02/halifax-indie-wedding-social/) on a very cold winter day in Halifax. Upon first meeting them, I knew they were going to be a great couple to work with. They were completely full of smiles and so excited about their upcoming wedding in Chester, NS. We chatted about cake styles, and they had a few whoopie pies and we planned to meet again in March to sort out cake details. In March, we met up again, and they were even more excited and busting with energy. This couple was planning a fantastic intimate wedding in Chester. They rented the entire Captain’s House B&B in Chester, NS
(http://www.captainshousechester.com/captains-house.html) for the weekend, and stayed on site for the rehearsal, wedding ceremony, and serious dance party that followed afterwards. It was amazing that the bride and groom were able to stay on site with their wedding guests for the day. The sun shone hot, and they said their vows outside on the patio overlooking the water. The bride and groom selected a double barrel cake with Swiss meringue buttercream, with cute top tier, and fresh draping local flowers. They had custom whoopie pie tags made by Ashley of A Creative Destiny (http://www.creativedestiny.ca/), which they gave to their guests as favors. Here are a few shots by there great photographer Andi Lo (http://endiro.com/). Could their smiles get any bigger? Loved this couple and this wedding so much!
